EarToon Terms of Service
If this English version and the Korean version differ, the Korean version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms set the conditions for using the mobile app "EarToon" (the "Service") provided by vrocksoft ("we"), and the rights and duties of us and our users.
2. The Service
The Service offers short interactive audio stories made of voice, sound effects and comic panels, free of charge; your choices change the story and its ending. The Service is supported by ads, which may appear between episodes or on the result screen.
3. Age
The Service is horror and thriller content rated 15+. Users under 15 may not use it.
4. Changes to these terms
These terms take effect when posted in the Service or on this page. We may change them within the law and will announce changes at least 7 days in advance (30 days for changes unfavorable to users). If you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and uninstall the App.
5. Changes to and suspension of the Service
We may add, change or remove works, and may change or suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, failures or operational reasons. As the Service is free, we are not liable for resulting losses except in cases of our intent or gross negligence.
6. Copyright
All rights in the works (scripts, voices, sound effects, pictures, etc.) and the App belong to us or their rightful owners. You may use the Service only for personal enjoyment and may not copy, distribute, transmit, modify or use it commercially without our permission.
7. Prohibited acts
- Extracting, copying or distributing the App or work files without permission
- Reverse engineering or modifying the App, or manipulating ads
- Interfering with the Service or placing excessive load on its servers
8. Nature of the works
The works are fiction; characters and events are unrelated to real people or events. They may contain fear, tension and accidents at a level suitable for ages 15+.
9. Privacy
Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are resolved in the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
